Who is Chae Talley?
Chae Talley is an award-winning director, screenwriter and producer currently residing in Los Angeles, California. Chae made his directorial debut in 2021 with the premiere his short-film “Goodbye to Yesterday” which received 51 awards including: Best Short, Best Director, Best Original Story, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Producer, Best Editing, Best Sound Design & more.
Chae has just completed post-production on his latest short film “When We Were Great” as writer and director. “WWWG” is set to premiere in early 2024.
Chae is also currently in pre-production on his first feature film “Anything for Something” set to begin principal photography next Spring.
He began doing stand-up comedy when he was 15 at the Gotham Comedy Club in NYC and has performed at noteworthy clubs in LA to include: The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, Flapper's Burbank and UCB Franklin.
Chae Talley is also the Creator and Executive Producer of the made-for-TV Comedy "Thank You For Your Patients" which won "Best TV Series" at the LA Film Awards.
In November, 2020, the pilot episode of Chae’s “The Book of Joeb” was selected as a Quarter-Finalist in Final Draft’s Big Break Screenwriting Contest.
Chae is currently studying for his MFA in the graduate program at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.
